American Kestrel Company, LLC was founded by David Parkins in 2004 to provide aircraft systems development and certification consulting, as well as research and development of aircraft safety systems. With over 32 years of aircraft icing certification and systems development experience, and an on-staff FAA Designated Engineering Representative specializing in the certification of aircraft ice protection and sensing systems, American Kestrel can support your research, development and/or certification programs.

David Parkins has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.Eng. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. He is an FAA Designated Engineering Representative, and a licensed private pilot with an instrument rating.
